The PMP Boot Camp

If you have worked in project management for a minimum of three years, you are eligible to apply for Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). This credential recognized worldwide means that the project manager has the experience, education and abilities to perform successfully direct projects. The title may lead to higher wages and a higher market value.

Vocational training Center at Boston University offers PMP Boot Camp to help you successfully prepare for the PMP certification exam. This course of study provides the opportunity to participate in a thorough and comprehensive review of the theory of project management, as described in the Guide to the Fundamentals of Project Management (PMI PMBOK). The course covers the five process areas, areas of new knowledge and processes contained in the 42 PMBOK.

PMP Boot Camp offers:

• A thorough knowledge of the registration requirements of the pmp boot camp certification exam and the registration process

• Basic assessment of fifty test questions, and to give an overview of the available evidence

• A thorough review of the PMBOK by process group

• An introduction to sample areas and important concepts that are not in the PMBOK, however, is expected to pass the exam

• An assessment of hundreds of test questions, such as the review of the last class will provide participants with the ability to develop a personal strategy for success test

• Discussion of test-taking strategies and transition

Project Management at Metropolitan College of BU

Boston University Metropolitan College (MET) offers a variety of programs of advanced project management designed to prepare skilled successful project to monitor projects, large and small, physical and virtual in a wide range of global industries managers. In the classroom or online, students receive high quality academic research, case studies, simulations and projects that provide a theoretical and practical understanding of the essentials of project management.

MET program offers an in-depth exploration of issues such as strategy and IT management; information systems; software development; geographically distributed systems; project planning and control; managing the lifestyle of the project; effective methods of leadership and motivation; cost and risk management; and quality management and supply projects.

The Institute Global Accreditation Center for Project Management project management software education (GAG) has accredited the following programs: Administrative studies met MS, MS in Computer Information Systems and Master of Project Management (in line).

The course starts on May 22 at noon and will meet regularly to guide students.

Prerequisites

You should have:

• A four-year degree (bachelor's or the global equivalent)

• At least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects

• A minimum of 35 hours of training in project management

• A high school diploma (high school or the global equivalent)

• At least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects

• A minimum of 35 hours of training in project management

Note: Complete the PMP Boot Camp offers 35 hours of training in project management.

In addition, you must also:

• Present a certificate of completion of at least one introductory course already taken in project management or academic record.

• Attend a virtual prerequisite workshop a month before training camp will help you complete your application for PMP Exam and provides tips on how to get an edge in preparation for training camp.

• Send your inquiry to PMI to take the exam, we recommend that you complete your application review online about three weeks before the course. The best way to prepare and submit your application is done online, go to the website of PMI.
